What does the Arrow of Time mean ?
In this blog I am going to
tell you about time and the arrow of time. We’ve all sat in class looking at
the clock and waiting for the class to get over. You might have even worried
about the hands would go backwards…...But, of course not ! that’s not possible.
There are many things we don’t know about time but yet we all seem to encounter
many of its behaviors in our daily life, one of which is “The difference
between space & time”.
In space we can move as far as
we want and even go backwards or turn in any direction but however with time
there is an “Irreversibility” that happens. For example, you have enjoyed your
weekend without any kind of work but you can just go back in time enjoy that
weekend over and over again skipping Monday, this is called the irreversibility
of time. It’s just like an arrow, it can’t be stopped or brought back to the
bow from which it was fired.
This may define an aspect of
time but how can we describe the “Arrow of time” even more…...Forward motion or
an unstoppable dimension ? its “Entropy”. So, you maybe asking “what’s entropy
?”. The entropy is the central component of the second law of thermodynamics,
Entropy is an idea that says “Universe is constantly progressing or rather declining
from “Order to chaos”. For example, consider a building whose each and every
brick is laid perfectly and its design is best as it can be…...however the more
the time passes, more and more bricks will be damaged due to factors like wind
,water etc. So, the building is the universe and its getting closer to
destruction as the time passes by !. But you may say, “What if I replace the
damaged bricks with new ones?”, yes you may replace it but eventually it will
wear out too and the idea of replacing the bricks is an entropy in itself.
Because if you replace the bricks, the building will not be perfect as it was
before that is the “order means the perfect building at the start and the
wearing out of the bricks is the progression towards chaos (destruction)”. The
same goes with the universe, if we try to fix or change our present we would
eventually end up in the future due to the arrow of time !. We can say that the
arrow of time was fired from the bow 13.8 Billon years ago…...that is we can say
the time started when the universe was born. But still we aren’t able to know
or understand time completely yet and the concept of time is truly a mystery
and quite interesting

But i want to ask something like i am fond of reading sanatan scriptures
There it is written that 1 second at bramha lok (the place where brahma reside) is equals to almost 1 yug of earth (yug is like a time period)
Also it is scientifically proven that time is slower or faster (not confirmed) near gravity or say the place where gravity is more like black hole
In one documentary they also told about in time diffrence at the top of burj khalifa and at ground
Why is this happening with time
Sorry if i asked something wrong.
Demn bro the Schrödinger's cat and this arrow of time were really mind boggling. Got to learn many things from you. Looking forward towards your blog
